2019 Cabernet Sauvignon

Wine Lore:  the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon showcases the power and elegance of this noble grape. It is sourced from the Alder Ridge vineyard which is a very warm site that endured an early-season cold snap. Deeply colored and aromatically intense, it opens with black currant, eucalyptus, black tea and licorice, followed by layers of toasted bread, hazelnut, vanilla and subtle oak spice. Aged in American oak for 5 years, the palate is silky and structured with a long, graceful finish. This Cabernet Sauvignon’s noble parentage (Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc) is reflected in this vintage, and it is built to age beautifully over the next 8–10 years.
